This is the completed unit from last night’s 2 hours of painting.
PS: Sorry about the cat hair on the backdrop…. I did clean a lot of it, but apparently not enough. Heh.

Ok. The local group is starting to play Fantasy again (yay), and I’ve decided to sell my Lizardman army to a local who wants to get in so I can finance my Ogres. I bought a box of Bulls so that I can start getting into the swing of painting them.
This unit is my “test unit” for painting.
I started off by primering black.
There are a few things that I forgot to add: I highlighted a few bits here and there of GW Shining Gold (61-63) and their nipples were painted GW Dark Angels Green (61-38).
I’ll have the final photos tomorrow.
This happened. Forget it. I’m done supporting this company. I’ll finish off my Dark Angels and put the rest of my armies in storage. I’m no longer interested (and right now I’m only barely interested playing thanks to the bad taste in my mouth) in 40k, BattleTech is looking more and more appealing (despite my FLGS having issues getting the product currently, that’ll change.).
Yearly 10% price hikes are uncalled for and a slap in the face for the consumer, crack cocaine is cheaper than this.
Ok I’ve stripped paint, and assembled the models to my liking: (two squads instead of 3 bloodletters) and put them on round bases so they’re compatible with both systems.
Here are the pics of the unprimed (and uncleaned) models…
I’ve assembled so far:
27 Standard Bloodletters
2 Bloodletter Champions
2 Musicians
2 Standard Bearer
6 Flamers of Tzeencth
1 Herald of Tzeench
Thanks to a local player who has moved on to different models for his Daemon army, I was able to purchase his entire line of Warhammer Fantasy/40K daemons for a VERY GOOD PRICE (Thanks, Evil Homer!
)
I’m in the process of stripping an repainting so I can use this as my primary army. I’m switching mainly because painting so much white is tiresome and unappealing at the moment (plus with Daemons I’m painting two armies at the same time!).
More to come later.
Addendum:
I’ll be using the Gale Force 9 round movement trays for Fantasy and basing them to match my current Chaos army
